All world champions have a coach, a strength and conditioning coach and a person who works on their psychological preparation in their team. In the areas of tactics and techniques there are no secrets, and science has figured out all the processes related to physical preparation, strength and muscles. Every athlete is at the same time a person that feels, sees, hears and enters many psychological states before, during and after competition. Mental preparation is necessary to find and maintain the best psychological condition required for the best results. Good psychological preparation is sometimes a deciding factor between winning and losing. The good news is that the mind can be trained, jsut as the muscles can be.
